# and a slightly hacked IOzone as well …

I wanted to test JackRabbit in cache, as well as out of cache. Unfortunately IOzone as written suffers from lots of 2G limits. and they limited their buffer sizes to 16M. So I bumped these up, and fixed the cache line size (it is 64 bytes for Opteron).

Bug me if you want the hacks. Going to run this out to 64GB and see what happens.

1. I’d be interested in trying out your hacked up iozone to bench some 8 way 16GB machines I’m tuning…

2. @Dave
Ok, let me get this together as a patch and binaries. Will post here later on with the download.
Please also post numbers, would love to see them (and any configs you care to share)…
