Obviously, violence isn’t a laughing matter. But that juxtaposition … with Jersey Shore immediately above it … doesn’t quite suggest it was … or wasn’t! … the cause of the violence. Could Jersey Shore drive mobs into frenzied states? I dunno. If 9M people watched it … possibly?
