… and HP gobbles up Lefthand networks

From WSJ:

Hewlett-Packard Co. agreed to buy LeftHand Networks Inc. for $360 million in cash, ramping up competition with rival Dell Inc. in the robust market for low-cost computer storage.

Uh huh. Competition for Equalogic.

  1. Uh – esp. that Dell paid over $1000 million more for their crap.
So if we assume a yearly revenue of $300 million for Dell/Equalogic, then HP could give out $300 million the next 3 years – and still have paid less than Dell … (ok – quite dumb math – but you get the point)
It clearly shows, how stupid Dell was, and how much they overpaid.
