I have noticed that we are measuring quotes generated per day, versus last year when it was per week, or the years before where it was per month. Not a great metric, but we are definitely feeling pressed back in our seats as we accelerate hard.

What I have learned from my failures, and successes in hiring, don’t hire someone you can live with. Hire someone you can’t live without. Someone good can not only let you focus upon what you need to focus upon, but they add value by being independent, intelligent problem solvers, who can see big pictures as well as finer details.
